Accommodation and Hospitality Services
The department is responsible for the management of three main areas - Accommodation, the Conference Office and Hospitality. The central office, located in Mithras House, co-ordinates these areas and provides support to the various offices, facilities and outlets within the department.
Accommodation Services
We manage the university halls of residence at Moulsecoomb Place, Phoenix and Varley Park, and work with Sanctuary Housing, London & Quadrant, and Servite who manage halls on our behalf at Falmer and Eastbourne. The Accommodation Offices, in both Brighton and Eastbourne, are a key part of the department ensuring that accurate information, help and advice concerning housing is available to all students.
The Conference Office
We are responsible for letting the university's residential accommodation, seminar rooms, halls and function rooms when not being used for academic purposes.
Hospitality Services
We are responsible for the provision of food and beverages on all campuses. This includes a range of restaurants, cafes, licensed bars and vending facilities. The service also provides catering for both internal and external meetings, functions and events.
