Community University Partnership Programme
The Community University Partnership Programme facilitates the university's work with the local community.
The team advises local community, voluntary and statutory organisations on research and collaboration opportunities, and also provides a link for staff and students to become involved with local communities and organisations.
The partnership programme is currently involved in four key areas of community engagement:
- Community Helpdesk
Point of entry to the university for local organisations enquiring about research and other possible collaborative opportunities. - Community Knowledge Exchange
These activities bring together the knowledge of local communities, voluntary organisations, practitioners and academics to share their different experiences and by working together, produce better results. - Student Community Engagement
Involving the university's student population with local communities - Research and Development
Expanding the work of partnership programmes to other universities and educational institutions
