Sussex Learning Network

The Sussex Learning Network (SLN) has been in existence as an organisation since September 2005. It is a Sussex-wide strategic network of higher education providers and local authorities; focusing on collaboration and partnership working, higher level skills and workforce development, vocational progression into, and through, higher education. The SLN was one of the first lifelong learning networks to be created in England and, from 2009 – July 2012 has been responsible for leading the Sussex-wide employer engagement project, the Centre for Work and Learning.

The Sussex Learning Network Phase three provides a supportive forum for providers in the move towards a new HE landscape. Staffed by a 0.5 Director and a Network Manager, SLN phase 3 began in August 2012 and will run until July 2014.
