Information Services
In support of the teaching, learning, research and administrative activities of the university, Information Services provides the following services:
- library
- media
- computing
- learning technologies
Services we manage include:
- the campus network which covers 15 sites across Sussex and Kent providing access to university resources and the internet from classrooms, libraries, offices and study bedrooms
- five site libraries with over half a million library items and electronic information sources available on and off campus,
- an interactive student intranet with personalised home pages, email, course material, file storage, printing
- around 860 computers in open access computer rooms and libraries
- media centres with projectors, cameras, video and audio recording, video editing, tape copying, tv studios, off air recording
- photocopying and binding services
- advice, support, documentation and training to use the above
