Choosing your halls
Before you decide which halls to apply for, you will need to make sure you know where your course is based. If you are not sure you can check the details of your course using our course finder or by calling our registry enquiries team on 01273 644644.
Who can apply
If you are a new student you are eligible to apply for a place in halls of residence unless you live in certain postcodes in Sussex.
We aim to offer all first year undergraduate students who meet our application criteria a place in halls. However, due to high demand for places on our courses, we regret we cannot guarantee you a place in halls except in specific circumstances. See our allocation policy.
If you are not offered a place in halls we can help you to find alternative accommodation.
