Welkin halls
Welkin halls of residence is situated close to the university's study sites in Eastbourne as well as being within easy reach of the town centre and seafront.
This is a designated residential site set in its own landscaped gardens with gated entrances. All rooms are en suite and are fully furnished. The bedrooms are grouped into self-contained flats with shared kitchen/communal areas.
There are TV aerial points in each bedroom, but you will need to have a TV licence if you intend to bring a television for your own room.
There are six rooms for students with disabilities. There are also a number of larger rooms available.
This is a catered hall with breakfast and an evening
meal included in the costs, Monday to Friday during term time.

The day-to-day management of the halls is carried out by Viridian Housing on behalf of the university.
Transport
Bicycles: Bicycle storage is available. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. Bicycles are not allowed inside the halls.
Cars: These are six parking spaces for disabled students only. Please do not bring a car to this site.
Public transport: Our halls are situated close to the Hillbrow and Welkin site and within easy walking distance of Darley Road. The railway station is approximately 20 minutes’ walk from our halls.

Post
Post will be delivered to your flat’s post box, except for parcels and registered post which are delivered to the management suite. Your postal address will be the flat and court (e.g. Flat 1, Berwick Court) followed by the site address. Do not use your room number.
