Our housing advice officer can provide information and answer questions relating to living in private rented accommodation.
If you have an issue or a specific question regarding the rented house that you live in you might want to contact them. The variety of housing-related areas they provide advice on includes:
- disrepair and maintenance issues
- tenants wishing to leave early from their tenancy agreement
- rent deposit disputes
- advice requested relating to the withholding of rent
- compensation issues
- allegations of harassment by housemates
- tenancies Issues relating to joint and several liability
- issues relating to licence agreements
- issues relating to liability when disagreements occurs relating to shared utility bills
- requests to check tenancy agreements.
