You can rent a room in your property to one or more of our students as part of our homestay scheme, and/or you can register your property on Studentpad, our online database of student accommodation, and advertise your property directly to our students.
Both options require you to agree to our code of standards, but there are no administration costs involved.
Becoming a homestay host
Homestay is a scheme which enables you to let your room or rooms to students who are looking to live locally in a shared home anything from two weeks to six months or even longer. We take care to match the host family with a compatible student so that both parties are comfortable with each other’s company. We will visit all homestay homes to ensure that they are suitable

Renting as a resident landlord
If you are a property owner and want to rent a room in your property directly to students then by registering with the university and agreeing to meet our code of standards, you will be able to advertise your property on Studentpad, our online student accommodation database.
