Unihomes are university-managed houses and flats. We lease properties from owners and then sublet to our students.
Why join the unihomes scheme?
We have many years of experience working in student housing, and more than 20 years’ experience of running this type of scheme. We know the housing market and we know about students and their expectations.
The benefit of the unihomes scheme are:
- guaranteed rent for the duration of the contract period paid in equal instalments
- no need to market your property
- student tenants are sourced and vetted by the university
- all legal paperwork and inventories are dealt with by the university
- no need to join a deposit protection scheme
- we carry out regular property inspections and report back to you
- tenants are given basic property care advice and encouraged to keep properties in good order
- we manage the students’ tenancies and have dedicated staff to deal with anti-social behaviour, welfare issues or non-payment of rent.
