Norman Cook's Big Beach Boutique 5 will be taking place next June, right here in his home city of Brighton at the new AMEX stadium. Details of the gigs were announced by Norman himself from the pitch before the match on Monday 24 October.

You may not realise but Norman is a former Brighton Polytechnic student, having graduated in British Studies in the 80’s and is keen to keep in contact with his university today.  As part of the Brighton Futures programme, his management company, Anglo Management, would like to work with some creative University of Brighton students on promoting the 2012 gigs on a local, national or even international scale.  Let’s help Norman make next year’s gigs the triumph he deserves – as he puts it, “I will probably never score a goal at the Amex, so this will be the closest thing to it!”

We would like to hear from any currently enrolled students who have ideas for campaigns, delivered across different platforms/channels. Get in touch with a summary of your ideas (in MS Word format, no more than 4 sides of A4) by 5pm on Wednesday 30 November. These summaries will be reviewed by Anglo Management and a selection of these submissions  will have the chance to turn their ideas into reality, with professional support and resources.

Email your summaries to brightonfutures@brighton.ac.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 30 November - no late submissions can be accepted!
