University of Brighton-Santander Universities Agreement

The University of Brighton has been in partnership with Santander Universities since November 2008 which has resulted in the provision of £150,000 in funds over three years to provide opportunities for current students and staff.  Read more about the establishment of the agreement. 

The university has recently signed a second agreement with Santander, through its Santander Universities Global Division, which will provide £75,000 per annum for the next three years in the form of grants, awards, scholarships and other financial support for our staff and students. The funding is split across a number of areas: excellence and achievement in Arts and Design awards for students, enterprise awards for students and alumni, student community engagement and volunteering awards, scholarships for research and masters students as well as travel grants for students and staff.

The following pages provide details about the funding available, as well providing examples of successful recipients in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
