Pick up your Fiver for the Future mug for £5
All proceeds will be donated to support students’ development through the Students’ Union:
• Providing extra funding for students to apply for so they can pursue their interests through SU societies
• Empowering students to run their own wellbeing projects through the Wishing Well Fund
• Supporting students to become more active citizens in their local community
• Helping the development of southern Africa through the Southern African Scholarship Fund
For every mug you buy, a group of our graduates will double your £5 to provide even more opportunities to our students

How the Students’ Union is funded
The Students' Union finance the services they provide partly from a block grant from the university, segregated fee income and money raised from the Union's trading services. They are also dependent on charitable donations to support students as much as they possibly can.

The SU are a charity which empowers their student members for the public benefit by:
- Promoting the interests and welfare of students during their course of study and representing, supporting and advising students.
- Being the recognised representative channel between students, the University of Brighton and other external bodies.
- Providing social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities and forums for discussions and debate for the personal development of our students.
