We run telephone campaigns each year to build stronger relationships with our alumni and to raise money for projects that will help our students get as much as possible out of their time at the University of Brighton.

This year was no different, and a team of 18 students got on the phone to speak to graduates from their area of study.  The students were able to find out what you’re up to now, update you with news about the university and to ask you to support our students with a small regular donation.

Between 8 November and 26 April we spoke to nearly 3,000 alumni from across the university and raised around £45,000 to help students over the next four years. Every pound that was donated, including Gift Aid, will help support our students and provide opportunities and assistance that would not be possible without your generous support.

Our target was to reach £50,000, and there is still time make a donation if you wish. Please help us raise the final £5,000 by donating today!

Many graduates gained a great deal from their time at university and are happy to give something back. If you’re one of them, please donate by:

  • Printing out our donation form, completing and posting it to us by using the freepost address provided on the form.
  • Donating online and writing which area of the university you would like to support in the comments box.
  • Request a student to call you so that you can make your donation via Direct Debit or credit card over the phone.

Fiver for the Future
All the students in this year’s team have very kindly donated £5 to support our Fiver for the Future campaign, which is raising money to support students through projects facilitated by the Students’ Union. Find out more about  Fiver for the Future
