News and events from the Alumni Association
With the autumn approaching, we are bracing ourselves to welcome a new cohort of students as they embark on their academic careers with us. Do you remember your first days at university? Please share them with us and make the most of our Facebook and Twitter pages to share your experience with our freshers who would appreciate hearing from former students.
We were glued to the Olympic and Paralympic games and took great pride in the varied achievements of our alumni and university community who participated in the Games. This newsletter’s banner is in homage to Brighton alumnus and gold-medal winning paracyclist, David Stone MBE, who brought home Team GB’s last gold of the Paralympics in the road cycling event. Please visit our London 2012 pages and keep an eye out for The Brighton Effect to read about the many ways your university was involved in the Olympic and Paralympic games.
Please remember that all alumni, irrespective of when they graduated, have free lifelong access to the university's Careers Service. If you graduated in the last two years and are seeking a paid internship, you may want to check out the internships vacancy page for the latest vacancies.
