Tackling the Snowdon Challenge
Ian Carter, Student Services Manager at the University of Brighton, is taking part in an epic endurance challenge in aid of charity.
The Snowdon Challenge will see Ian cycle 40 miles, climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon and paddle across a lake, all in one day. Ian and his wife Vanessa who are both alumni, will be taking on the challenge with their neighbours, Chris and Lara Williams.
Ian said: “We’re looking forward to this exciting challenge in support of Regain. We’ve been training steadily to reach our peak in time for Snowdon.”
Ian and Vanessa will be part of a team of four, the Lenham Luvverlies. So far they have raised almost £1,000 in support of their chosen charity, Regain, which supports men and women paralysed in sporting accidents.

The challenge will take place in July. To find out more about the Lenham Luvverlies’ endeavour you can visit their page on Just Giving.
