Employability skills

Employability Skills Programmes are an initiative from the Careers Centre designed to help students develop their career plans and enhance skills they may need in the workplace. If you attend all workshops within a programme you will receive a certificate from the Careers Centre, which can be used to enhance your CV and any future job applications.

Spaces are strictly limited and you must be available to attend all workshops within a programme.

Details of forthcoming workshops can be found on the careers centre website or on the student calendar; here is a flavour of what will be on offer:

  • Leadership and Teamwork
  • Entrepreneurship and Enterprise
  • Presentation Skills
  • Presentation Skills continued...
  • Become Confident and Employable
  • Employability Skills for Creatives
  • Creativity in the workplace
  • Self Management
  • Future Employability Skills Programmes

In order to attend you must book in advance. To sign up - check out the careers centre website, and then email careers@brighton.ac.uk stating your name, student number, course and the programme you wish to attend.
