Study skills

Study skills workshops take place in term one each year. They are held once per week at each campus, on different study related topics.

If you would like some advice on what studying at university involves, or how to sharpen up your writing, planning, reading and research skills, then these sessions are designed to help you.

Sessions take place in term one for an hour each week between 1 - 2pm and cover a range of topics such as essay planning, taking notes, how to remember what you read, organising your writing, meeting deadlines, revising for exams and how to work in groups.

Study Skills Workshops - Autumn 2012

Study support sessions will be running throughout the autumn term at all campuses

You do not need to book, however spaces are limited so make sure you are on time to avoid disappointment. You can also bring your lunch!
