Alumni Association
All students leaving the university automatically become members of the Alumni Association. This is the alumni (former student) association for the university and provides a means for you to keep in touch with your friends and have access to university events and facilities.
The Alumni Association is a bridge between your past and your future; it is your link to the university, your student colleagues and members of staff. The association offers a range of information, benefits and services to Brighton alumni at home and abroad and enjoys a network of just under 100,000 alumni worldwide. Through the association, the university can help you keep up to date on postgraduate training and professional development opportunities, and will invite you to university events and reunions.

- a free, annual magazine (The Brighton Effect) with news about the university and the achievements of former students
- free ongoing access to the careers service, which includes free one-to-one careers advice and reference materials on occupations, employers and job seeking skills
- up to 15 per cent discount off postgraduate training and professional development courses
- free library membership for one year after graduation and continuing membership at a special external rate thereafter
- a large friendship and career network using our extensive database and an online message board to keep in touch with old friends
- invitations to the wide range of events, lectures, seminars and conferences taking place at the university

- special membership rates for the University of Brighton sports facilities, gyms and swimming pool
