Tickets
How many tickets can I order?
When you respond to the invitation you will be able to order a maximum of two guest tickets. You will have to pay for them at the same time, as guest tickets cannot be reserved without payment. There is no free allocation of tickets and all guest tickets must be paid for in advance.
How much do the tickets cost?
Tickets for this ceremony cost £20. The
ceremony is not suitable for young children and tickets
must be purchased for older children.
When can I order additional guest tickets?
Additional guest tickets should be available online from Wednesday 12 June; if you return to the ceremony website (www.brighton.ac.uk/ceremony) and sign in as before, you may be able to purchase extra tickets after this date. Tickets will be removed from sale the week before the ceremony, and in some instances earlier. In the event that the ceremony sells out, it is unlikely that there will be tickets available on the day.
Are tickets refundable?
We regret that tickets are non-refundable unless you
do not receive your award – in these circumstances
your money will be refunded automatically.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets are collected on the day from the registration
desk at the Brighton Dome. They are not sent in
advance. Please do not telephone enquiring after
guest tickets that you have ordered, they can only
be collected on the day of the ceremony. You will receive a receipt via e-mail for tickets purchased online.
Will my guests be sitting next to each other?
Yes. Guests are not allocated numbered seats and may sit anywhere within the auditorium other than reserved seating.
While receipts will be sent via
email for tickets purchased online, we cannot issue
acknowledgements or receipts for ticket orders
posted to us.
What should I do if I (or my guests) have a disability or access requirements?
If you and/or your guests have additional needs
which may require special seating arrangements,
please let us know immediately either while
completing the online form, or by sending us
a note, so that appropriate arrangements can
be made. There are steps down from
the stage which recipients would normally descend,
and that the safety regulations at the Brighton Dome
limit the number of wheelchair users so early
contact is essential.
We can provide an induction loop if you or any of your guests require them. The venue requires us to take a £10 deposit, which will be refundable on return.
