Professor Aidan Berry is the Dean Brighton Business School. He is a qualified accountant and has been a professor since 1994. Aidan is the author of six books covering areas including accounting, corporate governance and bank lending.
His areas of research interest and expertise are concerned with the financing and availability of finance to small and medium size enterprises and he has written extensively on that topic. He is frequently called upon to engage in reviews of provision at other UK Universities and has carried out external examining roles in many Universities in the UK and abroad.
He is currently the Chief Examiner for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and sits as an advisor to its qualifications committee.
