Career Planning Agreements (CPAs) are embedded into all of our undergraduate courses. They help ensure that you graduate with all the knowledge, skills and creativity needed to succeed in the workplace.
Your CPA will highlight the employability skills acquired during your course. These skills are mapped against an Employability Skills Framework. Any gaps in your skills development can then be identified and addressed via extra-curricular opportunities.
Additionally, the CPA provides a framework for planning your career and developing your employability in a self-directed way. You can record and reflect on your own development using the Careers Service's Graduate Toolkit.
Developing employability skills is an important part of your student experience, not only in relation to getting your first job, but also for long-term of career development.
