Sustainable success

People are increasingly moving away from traditional to more sustainable holidays, according to research carried out by a University of Brighton student.
Oda Ellingsgaard's study, based on holiday trends in her native Faroe Islands, won a top award from the World Tourism Forum.
Oda, studying MSc Tourism and International Development, will travel to Lucerne, Switzerland, in April to present her paper to the forum, a non-profit organisation which exchanges ideas between tourism managers around the world.
Oda said: "It really is an amazing honour to win this."
