Design and Development of Engine Cooling Systems

15-18 July 2013

Delegates will develop an understanding of the design principals and component interactions of the sub-systems which make up vehicle engine cooling systems.

AutoCAD Training 

2 October to 4 December 2013, Wednesdays 4.00 - 6.00pm 

The AutoCAD course is for designers, draughtsmen, engineers of all disciplines, archiitects and managers who wish to learn the skills of Computer-Aided Design. Courses will be held in the Cockcroft Building, University of Brighton. 

Thermoplastic Materials 

4-6 November 2013

A three-day short course for those wishing to learn about commodity, engineering and high performance plastics which will give participants knowledge of their nature, properties, design and use applications.

Plastic Product Design and Manufacture 

18-20 November 2013 

A three-day short course giving participants knowledge of polymer factors influencing design and manufacture. 

Automotive Air Conditioning

High level training for engineering professionals in the automotive industry.

Introduction to Practical Finite Element Analysis

This course will provide an overview of current finite element applications using case studies and will focus on practical product and engineering design.

Introduction to Rhinoceros 3D Modelling

A short course introducing Rhinoceros 4.0, a tool in the design process for concept generation and exploration, detailed design, rapid prototyping and manufacture. 

 

What's included?

All course fees include course materials, refreshments and lunch on each day of the course. Fees are VAT free.

Masters-level CATS points will be awarded on credit-bearing courses, to those who successfully complete the optional assessments.
