The course

Rhinoceros 4.0 is a 3D surface modelling tool used widely in the furniture, jewellery, automotive, footwear and many other product design industries. This short course will introduce Rhinoceros 4.0 as a tool in the design process for concept generation and exploration, detailed design, rapid prototyping and manufacture.

The course will introduce you to the package so that by the end of the course you will understand the software layout, be able to sketch in 2D and 3D, as well as model in surfaces and solids. You will also be taught how to export to laser cutters, 3D printers and other rapid prototyping machines and shown good modelling practices.

Who will benefit and who should attend?

Product designers, jewellery designers, furniture designers, self employed designers, design students and anyone wanting to learn about Rhinoceros 3D modelling.
