IEMA approved foundation course in environmental auditing.
The course
Auditing skills are vital to many forms of management - this five-day intensive, IEMA approved Foundation course in Environmental Auditing provides the ideal opportunity to gain essential training. It presents environmental management and auditing with a practical rather than purely theoretical approach and includes a site visit to audit a real company. The course will be tailored to complement your experience and meet the needs of your workplace.
The course is ideal for environmental professionals who want to understand and develop their environmental auditing skills, environmental managers who want to carry out internal reviews and audits to identify risks and issues within their organisation, employers who wish to ensure they comply with recent legislation and health and safety managers who want to be fully aware of their environmental responsibilities.
The course is taught by highly experienced tutors with Dr Kirsty Smallbone from the University of Brighton as course leader, supported by a team of auditors from Argyll Environmental.
On successful completion of the assessment at the end of the course you will receive a basic qualification towards professional membership of IEMA and 20 masters level Credit Accumulation Transfer (CATS) points. The course is both IEMA approved and a University of Brighton validated module.
