As well as our annual careers fair we organise a number of careers-related events throughout the year. They offer employers the opportunity to recruit, raise their profile, share their knowledge, and support the development of skills relevant to their industry.
Careers fairs and forums
Attending a University of Brighton careers fair or forum offers you the chance to let our students know about your business and your opportunities.
Our Careers Fair 2013 will take place on Wednesday 6 November. We are currently in planning phase and when further information is available this site will be updated.
In 2012 we held our annual Careers Fair in collaboration with the University of Sussex at the American Express Community Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

We also organise a number of smaller events which allows organisations to come into direct contact with students and graduates who are interested in a specific sector. These include:

Delivering presentations and workshops
Employer presentations
A recruitment presentation can be an effective way for employers who are recruiting to target specific student groups or a more general audience. We can book a suitable venue, audio-visual equipment and any catering that you require. We will also publicise your presentation to our students.
Skills-based workshops
Skills-based workshops offer advice and knowledge to students, while giving you, the employer, the opportunity to develop workshop-facilitating skills and increase awareness of your organisation. Workshops can include a number of topics including your company, industry, what you look for in a graduate CV, or other application tips. In your workshop you may wish to cover these topics alone, with the support of a careers adviser or along with other employers.
We can arrange a venue and publicity, as well as advising on the nature of such workshops.
