Momentum is an award-winning mentoring scheme set up by the University of Brighton Careers Service. It aims to pair university students who wish to gain employability skills and confidence with professionals and managers who wish to share their experience.

Becoming a mentor can help you or your staff to gain insight, contacts and leadership experience through a structured, supportive and reflective programme.

Give a presentation or skills workshop

Giving a presentation or a skills workshop will raise your profile with students and give them insights into your industry that can help them plan for their careers. We can help you arrange everything you need to share your knowledge and experience with our students. Our careers forums are another opportunity to share your knowledge and help our students prepare for life after graduation.

Encourage enterprise with beepurple

The beepurple entrepreneurship network which is made up of students, graduates and staff who are interested in developing their business skills and/or business ideas.

Record a podcast

We have recorded a number of podcasts with employers. They cover issues such as sector information, application and interview tips, and the value of professional qualifications. You can listen to some of our existing podcasts and contact us if you are interested in recording one of your own for this website.

Write a case study
