Law Forum

The 2012 Law Forum was held in March.

The Law Forum offers students the opportunity to listen to law professionals speak about routes into the law sector and what it is really like to work within it. Students also have the chance to ask questions during a special Q&A session.

Students who attended previous Law Forums shared their experiences and tips for the event.

contentbox-quote-orange.gifI found it very good and very informative .... the chit-chat over coffee was particularly useful as it meant I could badger the people I wanted to speak to without boring everyone else.

contentbox-quote-orange.gifI wish to highlight that it was extremely useful to attend the event, to listen to the speakers and also have an informal chat with them. Because of the variety of the firms present, it gives a taste of what each type of work might involve and if its right for you or not. For example, from today's presentation I once again reassured myself that if I want to go to the legal profession, its high street firm I shall be aiming for, such as Howlett Clarke. An opportunity to have an informal chat after the presentation was amazing - here you can really get to know people, understand what the work is like and what it is about.
