£5000 innovation vouchers available for businesses to fund first interaction with the University

The Technology Strategy board is offering Innovation Vouchers with a value of £5000 to enable SMEs to work with an external expert for the first time, gaining new knowledge to help the business innovate, develop and grow. In the current round, Innovation Vouchers are offered in the Built Environment; Agri-Food; Space; Energy, Water & Waste; and Open Data sectors.
There will be regular calls throughout the year; full details are available on the TSB website
- Available if you are a start-up, micro, small or medium-sized business located anywhere in the UK
- Up to £5,000 for your business to obtain the help of an external expert to develop ideas and improve performance
- Issued every 3 months around specific themes
The University of Brighton has a strong track record in business focused research and particular expertise relevant to this call in sectors such as:
- built environment
- human geography/land use
- chemistry/bimolecular sciences
- energy, water & waste management
- service management including food sector
- extracting value from open data
