The course
Global recession places pressure on all of us, just as modern working practices demand more than ever before. We juggle diverse work loads whilst fielding increasing interruptions from email, tweets, text, phone, letters and colleagues. Many of us struggle to maintain focus and productivity at a time when efficiency and increased capacity matter most.
Who should attend?
Professionals from all sectors who recognise the need for improved effectiveness in their own email, task, time and project management and that of their team.
Course content
Accelerated Productivity is a practical course that uses a sound theoretical framework to support you in actively implementing permanent improvements to your work. Over the two days you will review your existing working practises and identify problem areas. You will design a strategy to improve your personal productivity while learning how to manage time, tasks, email and projects more effectively. Working with the tutor you will design and build a customised personal productivity system tailored to your needs.
You'll feel an immediate and lasting reduction in stress and an increased clarity and focus in your work and personal life. In the medium term you will enjoy an increase in capacity and in many cases an improved life-work balance. In the long term you'll have a set of tools that will support you for years to come: allowing you to handle heavy workloads and to recover rapidly from unavoidable crisis management.
By the end of the course you will:
- Understand what increases productivity
- Have a sustainable framework to make permanent improvements to your and colleagues' work
- Review all your live tasks and projects
- Implement a full personal productivity system
- Have optimised your working environment
- Have gained a renewed sense of control over your work and life
- Feel highly motivated to move forward across all your projects.
