Relationships through research and consultancy

  • The Natural Language Technology Group (NLTG)
    • is working with the PATSy project to improve user support and interface design of the PATSy system.
    • is working with Lexical Computing on the design, implementation and acquisition of lexical resources for commercial use.
    • has worked with Magpie in the application of sentiment and emotional text analysis to Magpie's alerting services.
    • has worked with Solcara to deliver advanced language technology in information management systems.
    • has a historical relationship with SPSS in the development and deployment of text mining technology, including consultancy work and workshop sponsorship.
  • The Computational Maths Group is working with B&W Loudspeakers on the modelling of the transient sound field radiated by a loud-speaker cone.
  • The Visual Modelling group have been collaborating with Nokia Research on the use of Euler diagram based notations for modelling ontologies.
