Learning environment

The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics is based across both the Watts and Cockcroft buildings of the university’s Moulsecoomb campus, just 2 miles from the centre of Brighton.

You will study in one of the best equipped learning and research centres in the UK, and with a local train station and its location on the main bus route, it's easy to head into the city or out into the glorious South Downs between classes.

The school currenly has over 1,400 students, ensuring that your time at Brighton will be a lively one. But small class sizes and lots of support from staff mean that you'll be very much part of the University community. While studying at degree level can be a challenge, especially if you're leaving home for the first time, we'll do all we can to help you settle in.
