I applied to Brighton as the university is ranked highly as one of the leading places to study automotive engineering in the UK. I also had a really positive impression of the facilities available when I visited the university. The staff are very supportive and that was important to me as I was applying from overseas.
I expected the course to take up all my time but I have found that it is possible to have a balance between education and work. The facilities here offer a quiet and supportive place to study but the department and Brighton itself is lively enough to socialise and there are lots of activities to be involved in.
Since being here I feel that I have gained a lot of confidence and have made some great friends.
