What our graduates say

Digital Television Management and Production MSc (2007)

quote

Two things influenced my decision to study in Brighton. The first was the city itself; I really enjoyed Brighton’s vibrant, open and creative culture, which I felt was on a scale and pace more suitable for my lifestyle compared to neighbouring London. The other factor was the positive recognition and reputation that the university had established in the field that I wanted to pursue. At the time the course was the first of its kind in the UK and a lot of interesting research was being published in this area.

I was satisfied with the standard of tuition and the facilities and resources were well able to support my learning. Most students attending in my year were international students and this provided an excellent cross-cultural mix, which I felt added character.

During the course I was able to collaborate with a major broadcaster in a research project, which produced some interesting results that I presented at an international conference. Since graduation, I have started a business venture with a colleague of mine who I met while attending the course. The business development services at the university were very helpful in providing information, advice and support online. I found my experience at the university to be a mix of learning, fun and inspiration and ultimately beneficial.
