After graduating from New York University with a BFA in Film & Screenwriting, Angela was a web developer for Bernard Hodes Advertising in New York City. She was subsequently recruited as a computer science lecturer at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU. In 1999 she relocated to Sydney Australia to work in interactive television as a multimedia developer for Cable & Wireless Optus where she worked as a Liberate programmer and user interface designer on Australia’s first digital interactive television system.
She concluded the MSc program with a placement in the Sky Active Operations department. When her placement ended she was offered positions at three separate interactive TV companies. In 2005 she joined Zip Television as a QA Engineer.
"I manage the quality assurance process for the commercials & iAds that we produce. Since we work with blue chip clients it’s important to maintain a certain level of quality throughout the production process. My time is split between developing test scripts and implementing the scripts in the functional & user acceptance testing that I perform on the full range of Sky set top boxes. Additionally, I assist the production process by developing iAds in Modelstream. "
Angela has worked on iAds for Honda, Gillette and Orange.
