Working as director of information services at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. I was asked to become a director of the college in the New Year, having been head of student information services for two years. My line management remit now includes information services (library and e-learning), marketing and communications, student support and access, and the technical tutor function. For the last two years I have also been chair of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) Assessment Panel (South East), which keeps me in touch with the library profession outside of HE.
