Applying for our courses
In the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics we make offers using the UCAS tariff (points) system (www.ucas.co.uk/students/ucas_tariff) for undergraduates. For masters courses you can apply directly to the university (www.brighton.ac.uk).
The undergraduate UCAS tariff system is flexible and recognises a broad range of qualifications. Please note that:
- We welcome applications from mature students whose qualifications may not match standard entry requirements.
If you are uncertain about your qualifications and / or our requirements please complete our online enquiry form and your query will be forwarded to the appropriate admissions tutor.
Research study applications
If you wish to pursue a PhD or MPhil, details of how to apply, useful information on proposal writing and research study in cem can be found in our research study section
Open days
Open days are held every autumn (pre-application) and in the spring term for those who have received offers.
We recognise that applications are also made outside the open day schedule and we can make arrangements for you to visit the university if you contact us.
