Investigation of Acoustic Signatures for Virtual Sensing of Engine Conditions

Summary

This project follows on from over a decade of research, at University of Brighton, into intelligent condition monitoring for internal combustion engines.

The current project uses very cost-effective piezoelectric sensors, coupled with appropriate signal processing, to monitor for, and identify, combustion and operational problems.
