Professional and industry partners

The Chelsea School has many links with other organizations as part of the accreditation of our courses, or as part of our research and consultancy.

Relationships through accreditation of our courses

OFSTED (The Office for Standards in Education) is the government’s official inspection and accreditation body for teacher education.  This body accredits our teacher training courses and grades the quality.  In the 2006 inspection we were graded as the equal best provider of secondary P.E. training in the country.

The NCTJ (The National Council for Training of Journalists).  This body accredits training programmes for journalists.  We provide the only undergraduate accredited sports journalism degree in the country

BASES (The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences)  This is the professional association for sport and exercise sciences.  Our laboratories are accredited by BASES for their high standards
