Chelsea School is based at the Eastbourne campus of the University of Brighton
Our staff, students and graduates have been contributing to the development of sport, exercise and leisure since our founding over 100 years ago in our original home in Chelsea, London (hence our name) back in 1898.
The school has enjoyed an international reputation for excellence with the school's focus on physical education, sport and exercise science, sport and leisure studies and sport journalism.
Study, social and sporting facilities are at the heart of the site. Over 900 students enjoy life at the Chelsea School, taking a range of undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses and drawing upon specialist, expert and experienced supervision for PhD and MPhil research degrees.
