Martin Wilkinson

Martin Wilkinson BA Hons Physical Education with QTS

I chose to study my degree at the University of Brighton because of the facilities that are available, the reputation and credibility of the course both here in Britain and internationally.

Facilities

The school is located in a glorious area of Eastbourne, with library, study, accommodation, social and sporting facilities of the highest calibre all within easy walking distance.

At Eastbourne in the last three years the University has invested over £10 million on facilities to increase accessibility, bring up to date older parts and put in place new and dynamic physical resources in line with the best available in the country. These changes include:

New Learning Resources Centre(library and open pool computer facility)
Queenwood Library and Ward Hall Inside the libraryInside Welkin Halls
Purpose built student residences, new lifts, landscaping, and disabled parking
Outside Welkin Halls
Sports Centre and refurbished sports facilities (sports hall, fitness suite, climbing wall, swimming pool, three gymnasia, dance studio, artificial training pitch)
Hillbrow Sports Centre

All These changes have made the Eastbourne site an accessible, up-to-date, exceptional working and social environment of which the University is justly proud.
