Women in higher education in the

Kurdistan region of Iraq and the 

Arab region

This one day symposium was intended to build on and share the British Academy funded project’s experiences of working with other academics, researchers and gender advocates.  The collaborative project involving female academics from the UK and the Kurdistan region of Iraq has been investigating the challenges female academics face in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and successful strategies they adopt to meet these.
