Teaching international students
The free-standing CLT mini-site "Teaching International Students" offers a practical guide to effective teaching strategies to enable your international students to get the most from their studies here.
The site was developed in response to the findings of a project on cultural diversity and the experience of international students, carried out by Peter Johnson, International Student Advisor in Student Services, with funding from the Prime Minister's Initiative for International Education (PMI). The resource also includes a brief introduction to the way that cultural factors can influence students' response to their learningenvironmente, as well as the more detailed resource which Peter produced as part of his research.
