Humanities taster day
10.30am–2pm Saturday 25 June, Moulsecoomb campus, Brighton
With high-street shops and business shutting down, signs of the global financial crisis are all around us. The far-reaching consequences affect all of us. But what does it mean and why did it happen?
The School of Humanities is organising a taster day to examine the issues around this important twenty-first century event. Meet current students and lecturers and join the debate.

Access and BTEC student drop-in advice day
12noon-4pm Saturday 25 June, Room 303, 10-11 Pavilion Parade, Brighton
This is a free and impartial drop-in advice service for students on Access to HE Diploma, BTEC and A Level courses. If you haven't applied to university, are not holding any offers or are worried you may not make your grades help is at hand. We can guide you through the processes you need to follow to secure your university place.
You can come along no matter what university you are considering. We can discuss what your HE options could be as well as specific opportunities available at the University of Brighton starting in 2013.

HE advisers day and Compact launch
Friday 28 June, Falmer campus, Brighton
The official launch event for the University of Brighton Compact. Teachers and advisers can find out more about the services and support the Compact offers and schools and colleges can become Compact partners.
Development sessions available on the day include UCAS personal statement and reference writing workshops. See full programme of events.

Priority Clearing service

This is a free and impartial drop-in advice service we are providing to our Compact partner schools and colleges. If you haven't achieved the A level or BTEC grades you hoped for, or you want to make a late application and start a university course in 2013 we can help. Our team will be in the following schools and colleges on A level results day to guide you through the processes you need to follow to secure your university place.
