Supporting progression to higher education
The University of Brighton Compact is a partnership between the university, schools and colleges and students.
Students studying in Sussex can benefit from the support and services we deliver through the Compact no matter which university they are thinking about attending.
We aim to make the activities and support we provide responsive and flexible to the needs of our individual partner schools and colleges.
For students
Advice on choosing the right university and course, writing a personal statement, student finance, settling into student life.
For teachers
Information, advice and guidance for students, support and training for teachers, presentations for parents and carers.
Plus Programme
An enhanced programme of support, activities and one to one advice to assist students with the transition to university.
Compact calendar
We run events for teachers, advisers, parents and students at the university and at schools and colleges throughout the year.
