Eastbourne

Located in the pleasant Meads area with the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club to the rear, our campus is perfectly positioned in this charming seaside town.

This site is particularly suited for residential conferences during the summer months, day meetings during the weekend or vacation periods, evening seminars/lectures.

Meeting facilities

3 tiered lecture theatres seating 240, 220, 100.
1 hall seating 120.
30 seminar rooms across 2 campuses seating from 10 to 60.

Residential accommodation

Self-contained flats of up to 6 single en-suite bedrooms (including private shower, WC, wash basin) with shared kitchen/communal area. There are 320 bedrooms in total.

Catering facilities

Sprinters Restaurant on the Hillbrow site can accommodate 200 for a seated buffet or 150 in banqueting style.
Greynore Restaurant on the Greynore site can accommodate 200 for a seated buffet or 150 in banqueting style.

Audio visual

All lecture theatres are fitted with built-in equipment including lectern with microphone, data projector, PC, OHP and screen. Some seminar rooms have ceiling mounted data projectors. Additional equipment is available for hire.

Sports facilities

There are excellent sports facilities on site including indoor swimming pool, 3 gymnasiums, outdoor artificial turf pitch, sports hall and tennis courts. All are available for hire.

Accessibility

There are some bedrooms adapted for wheelchair users. The restaurants and some classrooms are located on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair users.

Other facilities

Coin operated laundry in the Halls of Residence.
There is a bar on the Halls of Residence campus which can accommodate up to 100 people and is available for hire.

Parking

There is free on-street parking for cars in the area.

Trains

Eastbourne station is approximately 15-minute walk from the Hillbrow/Welkin campus. A taxi costs approximately £3.50 from the station.
