Our Moulsecoomb campus is only 2 miles from Brighton city centre with excellent transport links from the city and plenty of free parking on site.

This site is suited to residential conferences on a budget during the summer months, day meetings during vacation time, evening seminars/lectures.

Meeting facilities

9 tiered lecture theatres seating 60-240.
1 hall seating 320 which can also be used as an exhibition space (293 sqm).
20 seminar rooms across the campus with varying capacities from 23 to 80.

Residential accommodation

Split level self-contained flats of up to 8 single bedrooms with wash basin in each.  Kitchen/communal area and bathroom facilities are also shared within each flat. There are 163 bedrooms in total.

Catering facilities

Mithras Restaurant can accommodate up to 250 for a seated buffet and 150 in banqueting style.
Cockcroft Restaurant can accommodate up to 200 for a buffet
Watts Building has a small café area.

Audio visual

All lecture theatres are fitted with built-in equipment including lectern with microphone, data projector, PC, OHP and screen. Some seminar rooms have ceiling mounted data projectors. Additional equipment is available for hire.

Sports facilities

There is an indoor gymnasium on site which is available for hire.

Accessibility

There are some bedrooms on the ground floor adapted for wheelchair users. Some classrooms/lecture theatres are located on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair users. Inductions loops are fitted in some classrooms.

Other facilities

Coin operated laundry in the Halls of Residence.
ATM machine in Cockcroft Reception.

Parking

There is free car parking on site.

Trains

Moulsecoomb has its own train station which is a 5 minute journey from Brighton on the Brighton /Lewes/Hastings line. Moulsecoomb Station is located just behind the Halls of Residence and is approximately 10 minutes walk from the furthest teaching building.

Buses

There is a bus stop along the Lewes Road where several buses (city 10, 24, 25, 49; big lemon 42, 43, 44) run to/from the city centre.
