Accommodation
Are all the bedrooms single?
Yes, all the bedrooms on each campus are single.
What facilities are included in delegate bedrooms?
All bedrooms have a single bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair. En-suite rooms have shower, WC and handbasin. Standard rooms have a washbasin, with toilets and bathrooms nearby. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Are there telephones in each bedroom?
There are no telephones in individual bedrooms, however there are payphones available on each campus.
Do you have bedrooms available all year round?
No, our bedrooms are usually only available in July, August and September each year.
Catering
Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, special diets can be catered for. Please let us know in advance of your requirements.
Can we provide our own catering?
No, the university catering service are able to provide any catering you require.
When do I need to provide final numbers?
We usually ask for confirmation of final numbers 7 days prior to the event.
Are there bar facilities on site?
There are bar facilities on some sites which normally have to be pre-booked in advance for conferences.
Can you provide a conference dinner?
Yes. Please discuss your requirements with us in advance so that we can make the evening a success.
Do you provide discos and/or evening entertainment?
No, but we can provide a venue on some sites for entertainment.
What time are meals served?
Meal times can be arranged to suit your event.
AV / Office facilities
Is there any AV equipment included in the day delegate/24 hour rate?
Yes. In-built equipment in the main meeting room is included in both the day delegate rate and the 24 hour rate.
Is there a telephone/fax I can use while on site?
It is possible to convert a classroom into an office during the period of your event and it is possible to have a telephone/fax put in some rooms.
Is there a photocopier on site?
There are library facilities on most campuses and there are photocopiers within the libraries. Credit must be purchased in order to use the photocopiers which can be done on-site.

Is there free car parking on site?
Yes, during vacation time there is usually ample free car parking on most sites. On some sites there is free on-street parking only.
Do you provide signage for my event?
Yes, we can produce signs to direct your delegates to the event.
Do your rates include VAT?
Yes, all our rates quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
What train station do I use?
Each site is different. Please refer to the individual site information for train details.
Can I make deliveries to the site before the event?
Yes. Please contact us before arranging this so that we can give you the correct postal address.
Do you have any exhibition space?
We have limited exhibition space on some sites.
Where is the nearest cash point?
There is a cash point on most campuses. Please refer to the individual site information for details.
Is there a shop on-site?
No. However there are shops nearby some campuses.
