Brighton - Falmer
Located on the edge of the South Downs, our Falmer accommodation is set in picturesque surroundings with lovely views of the beautiful Sussex countryside.
Group size: large
This site is particularly suited to large catered groups wanting modern en-suite accommodation, sports facilities and/or classrooms.
Falmer campus accommodation
Accommodation
- Split level self-contained flats/maisonettes of up to 8 single en-suite bedrooms (including private shower, WC, wash basin) with shared kitchen/communal area.
- 350 rooms in total.
- Towels and linen are provided.
Packages available
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided when booked in advance.
- Catering can be provided to groups of minimum of 50, maximum of 200.
- Self-catered packages are available. We can equip kitchens with crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Other facilities
We have a range of classrooms, lecture theatres and halls available for hire. There are also some sports facilities on site including outdoor playing fields, floodlit tennis courts and 2 indoor gymnasiums which are available for hire.
Parking
Parking is free.
Access
There are some bedrooms on the ground floor adapted for wheelchair users. Some classrooms / lecture theatres are located on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair users. Induction loops are fitted in some classrooms.
Trains
Falmer has its own train station which is an 8 minute journey from Brighton on the Brighton/Lewes/Hastings line. Falmer station is located at the bottom of the campus and is approximately 10 mins walk from the accommodation.
Buses
There is a bus stop on the campus where the 25 city bus and 43 big lemon bus run to/from the city centre.
Laundry facilities
Coin operated machines on site.
