Our English language, literature and linguistics courses allow you to develop an understanding of language use, variation and meaning and explore the relationships between language, literature and media in historical and contemporary contexts. With a range of single and joint honours courses available you can tailor your studies to your personal interests.
Our students learn to be independent thinkers because they are taught by independent thinkers. Many courses offer progression opportunities to postgraduate study within the university.
